How We Work

Overview

At Emerald City Pictures, we have broken down our workflow from the first meeting to delivery of your final film.  We want to keep you informed and involved to ensure that you are getting exactly the kind of film you want.  Communication is critical throughout the process of developing your film.

Pre-Production: Research and Planning

Step 1 in developing your project is pre-production.  This is where we will meet with you to discuss what you want out of your project and determine what assets will be needed to complete the project.  Then the Emerald City Pictures team will gather a variety of information from you (names, logos, ideas, etc.) and formulate a production plan and schedule. This production plan can be extensive or fairly simple.  It all depends on the scope of your project and your desire.  The key is being prepared and having a plan.

Production:  Creating your Vision

Step 2 in developing your project is production.  This is where we bring in the cameras to film the project following the plan created in pre-production.  Using the agreed upon production schedule, the Emerald City Pictures team will come and begin the creation of your project.

Post-Production

Step 3 in developing your project is post-production.  This is where all of the film/video that was shot and all of your project’s material gets assembled in the editing room and sound booth.  Upon completion of a rough cut, your review of the edit will be requested. Ensuring that we are following your vision is our #1 Priority.

Delivery

Step 4 is the final step. When all of your changes have been made we deliver the completed project on your specified media.  We can deliver prints, electronic files for web upload, DVD’s or any other media you would like.
